Regina Abrami, Lauder Institute Global Program Director, is now in Tanzania making preparations for an upcoming trip with students in July.  She has Tanzanite on her mind.  Rarer than diamonds, Tanzanite is found only in a small area of Tanzania, and on this outreach trip, she had the good fortune to meet Hayley Henning, the Tanzanite Foundation’s tireless advocate.  Traveling in July to Arusha, located at the foot of Mount Meru, Global Program students will have a chance to learn more about the mining industry here.
